Coffee Stain

About

Coffee Stain is an indie game developer and publisher of PC, console and mobile games. Particular strengths in creating new products include its focus on digital sales, retention, cross platform and multiplayer.

Located in Skövde, Coffee Stain Studios was founded in 2010 and is the original team behind I Love Strawberries, Goat Simulator and the Sanctum games, and currently works on the early access sensation, Satisfactory.

Stockholm based Coffee Stain North was founded in 2013 around the sleeper hit A Story About My Uncle. Since then, the team has taken the lead on Goat Simulator, taking Pilgor the goat on a journey from the zombie apocalypse into the deep reaches of space.

Coffee Stain Publishing, started in 2017, is currently working with Ghost Ship Games on Deep Rock Galactic, Easy Trigger Games on Huntdown, Vaulted Sky Games on Midnight Ghost Hunt and with Iron Gate Studio on Valheim.

The Coffee Stain Group became part of Embracer in November 2018, forming the 3rd Operative Group.
