Initiatives that seed Future Generations, the Games Industry or a Greener Planet

Give Back – Think Ahead

Positive development and support future generations

Embracer Group is a parent company of businesses within the gaming and entertainment industry. With operations around the world, we want people and the planet to thrive. We have the ambition to give back and to think ahead. That is why we support initiatives that plant strong roots for our industry, the next generation, and a better planet.

We want to promote positive development and support future generations in various ways. We have, therefore, set aside funds for projects that meet the below-mentioned criteria.

These are our criteria for engagement:

  • The initiative should be something that plants strong roots for our industry, the next generation, and a better planet.
  • The project makes a tangible difference or impact.
  • The project is in line with our Code of Conduct
  • The initiative falls within a budget or manageable timeline.

Some background and the story behind “our” Värmland?

The province of Värmland in Sweden has always been an important place for us. This is where Embracer Group’s journey began, and this is where our headquarters is still located. For us, this is about roots and the love of “home”. We are convinced that no matter where in the world one lives, everyone has “their own Värmland”, that place that holds a special little place in everyone’s heart. This is partly why we want to give back, both locally and globally.
