As of tomorrow, October 2, 2019, the THQ Nordic-share will be traded under the new name Embracer Group (EMBRAC). The renaming of the listed share will take effect as it has now been registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office. The board of directors has also today resolved that the record date shall be on October 8, 2019 for the share split resolved on by the annual general meeting September 17, 2019.

At the annual general meeting on September 17, 2019, it was resolved that Embracer Group AB will be the new name of former THQ Nordic AB. The new name has now been registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office, and thus can also be implemented for the company's listed shares: Embracer Group, (ticker: EMBRAC). The change will be implemented tomorrow, October 2, 2019.

The record date has now also been set for the share split by the board of directors, also resolved by the annual general meeting, whereby an existing A share and B share each will be split into three new shares. The record date is October 8, 2019. The number of shares after the split will be 311,905,035, divided on 27,000,000 A shares and 284,905,035 B shares (before the split 103,968,345).

New ISIN codes for the A-share is: SE0013121571 and the B-share: SE0013121589.

The last day of trading in the B share before the share split is Friday October 4, 2019 and first day of trading after the share split is Monday, October 7, 2019. The share split will be carried out automatically through Euroclear Sweden AB and the shareholders do not have to carry out any actions. Shares received in the share split is expected to be registered in the shareholders securities accounts on October 9, 2019.

The strategic rationale behind the renaming to Embracer Group AB is to clarify the Group structure and strategy with the parent company acting as a holding company. The Group currently has three wholly owned, operating subgroups: Koch Media / Deep Silver, Coffee Stain and THQ Nordic GmbH – all of which remain unchanged.
