It has always been important for us at Embracer Group to be sustainable where we operate and keep being a good place to work and attract more great people. That is why we developed our framework Smarter Business.

For us, smarter business is all about operating in a sustainable way, making sure we run a sound business that helps create value to all our stakeholders while staying true to our way of doing things.

By keeping it real we make sure that we are true to ourselves, but more importantly, being true to us is about supporting respectable values shared by the many. Not pretending to be something we are not.

How we work

We are on a journey to do better by creating great entertainment, be a great place to work and do better for the environment – all this will deliver shareholder value.

The focus areas are a guide to help shape the work and together with our employees, we can identify activities that fit under each pillar and start working on the initiatives each subsidiary believes create the most value. It’s key to keep the entrepreneurial spirit within companies and employees alive – we want to acknowledge and celebrate individual ideas and achievements and scale them up within the whole organization.

Setting goals for the future

Over time initiatives will be measured and each subsidiary will define its own sustainability programs as well as targets and goals.

A yearly sustainability report from Embracer Group will show progress made and further spread ideas.

Our commitment to Safe In Our World

In May 2020, we joined Safe In Our World as a partner. Supporting this initiative that raises awareness of mental health is important to us, we are a growing group and with size comes responsibility. Our employees are our greatest asset and by committing to Safe In Our World we can offer our subsidiaries and their employees, Toolkit’s, information and other support to manage and prevent mental health problems.

From us, it is a commitment to raise awareness of mental health in our group, and this allows us to level up together.
