For us, responsible acting means that we conduct our business in a manner that is fair, reliable and transparent.
All subsidiaries within the Embracer Group act independently but with common, high ethical standards and high transparency. The Group has zero-tolerance against all forms of harassment and discrimination with a strong belief in diversity and inclusiveness. The way we act and make business is described in our compliance code. The Code is derived from the company’s philosophy regarding high ethical standards and our common core values and is intended to guide us in everything we do.
Embracer is relying on the assistance of its employees in the event that they witness severe violations. Embracer expressly encourages employees to approach supervisors and/or compliance officers if they detect conduct in violation of the Code.
We strive to maintain transparency as well as high business ethics. Reports on violations of the Code are in our interest. If the concerns are of a sensitive nature or a serious deviation from our Compliance Code we encourage our employees to report through our external whistleblowing service (WhistleB). The whistleblowing service provides an opportunity to communicate on suspected wrongdoings and deviations from our Compliance Code. The whistleblowing service makes wrongdoings less likely to occur in the first place and shows our commitment to operate in a fair way.

We safeguard the right to be anonymous when using our whistleblowing service. When reporting via Whistle B, there is no need for proof, but it must be made in good faith. Access to messages received through our whistleblowing channel is restricted to appointed individuals at Embracer Group AB (the parent company), with the authority to handle whistleblowing cases. Their actions are logged and handling is confidential.
“WhistleB ensures the anonymity of the whistleblower. The service is separate from the organisation’s IT environment. WhistleB does not track IP addresses or other data that could identify a person sending a message. Messages are encrypted and can only be decrypted by designated individuals. WhistleB cannot decrypt and read messages.”
