Coffee Stain is an indie game developer and publisher of PC, console and mobile games. Particular strengths in creating new products include its focus on digital sales, retention, cross-platform, and multiplayer.
Located in Skövde, Coffee Stain Studios was founded in 2010 and is the original team behind I Love Strawberries, Goat Simulator, and the Sanctum games. It currently works on the sensation title, Satisfactory.
Stockholm-based Coffee Stain North was founded in 2013 around the sleeper hit A Story About My Uncle. Since then, the team has taken the lead on the Goat Simulator franchise.
Coffee Stain Publishing, started in 2017, is currently working with Ghost Ship Games on Deep Rock Galactic and Iron Gate Studio on Valheim, among other titles.
Ghost Ship Games was founded in the spring of 2016 by six veteran game developers and is best known for being the studio behind Deep Rock Galactic. With close to a decade-long experience in early access and working closely with many smaller developers, Ghost Ship is uniquely positioned to also offer a publishing environment labeled Ghost Ship Publishing, founded in 2023.
